Law was a subject I was drawn to due to the ability to help individuals and businesses but also to the future changing of rules and regulations. It helps keep the law interesting. I am particularly interested in Company law and Criminal law however, I am open to other areas.

My name is Sam Gunnewicht, and I am currently studying MA Law at the University of Law in Bloomsbury. After completing my undergraduate degree in History at Sheffield and working in legal and financial translation for a year, I am hoping to take this experience into a career as a solicitor. I have a particular interest in EU and supranational law, especially in the areas of energy, power and climate. I would love the chance to work abroad in the future.

Hi! My name is Kira Luter, I am currently in my second year at Cardiff University, studying Law with Criminology. My interest in law began when I studied it at A Level, where I grew a particular interest in criminal law, I am also now interested in family law but won't have the chance to study it until next year. After my degree I hope to qualify as a solicitor, specialising in one of these areas, however I am also keen to explore other avenues. I chose to pursue a career in law because it's something that shapes our every day lives and I believe that everyone should have access to good legal advice.

Hello, there. My name is Ahad, and I’m graduating with an LLM in International Law & Security from the University of Glasgow this winter. Having completed an undergraduate degree in Law and Arts (B.A. LL.B.) in 2020, I have been exposed to a plethora of legal facets, and have had the opportunity to intern at organisations focusing on areas like environmental law, cyber law, family law, medical and insurance law, and so on. It is human rights law, however, that has made me the most inspired and motivated throughout my time exploring the legal field, and as such I have written various articles on violations like child abuse, violence against women, and trafficking. With my passion towards learning about injustices and seeking solutions, I aim to perform my best here at the National Community Law Project CIC.

I am Sujeewa Hewamadduma and currently studying post graduate Law at Leeds Beckett University. Also I have an experience different areas of law such as Crime and Criminal Justice and Human Rights. My experiences at Citizen Advice, Red Cross and National Child Protection Authority Sri Lanka have convinced me to pursue my interest in law. I demonstrated and experienced my immigration OISC L1 abilities through these organisations by working with the clients cases. I wanted to learn and gain legal exposure, which will be an added advantage if we deal with the law in a Global Context. Also I am extremely happy to be able to share legal knowledge and work among public groups and organisations. The areas of law I am interested in are Criminal law, Immigration law and Family law.

My name is Muhammad Sarmad Khan and I have completed my Postgraduate Diploma Bar Training Course from the University of West of England at Bristol. My interest in law originates from the ability of a lawyer in being able to provide viable solutions to complex problems faced by different individuals. I have a passion of practicing criminal law in the future as I strongly believe that it is a vital sphere of law through which you can contribute positively to the society. My future aspirations are either to become a Senior Crown Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service or to work as a Lead Prosecutor in the International Criminal Court. I strongly believe that this experience will benefit me considerably towards achieving that goal.

I am passionate about law in general, but deeply interested in criminal law. I have a strong belief that everyone deserves the right to be legally represented, as it is the cornerstone of our judicial system. While being bilingual, I believe I can make a difference.
I discovered my interest in law when I was assisting individuals with various legal and non-legal translations. I am looking forward using my language skills in my law career in our multicultural and multilingual society.

Hi, my name is Zara Mahmood. I completed my undergraduate degree at Oxford Brookes University and my postgraduate degree at the University of Reading (LPC LLM). I was drawn to studying law from a young age with no interest for any other line of work and have since then continued to work towards that goal.
