Zobia Hafiz

Community Law Project - Paralegal

Hi my name is Zobia, I have completed the LPC and GDL at Cardiff University. My interest for law stemmed from seeing first hand just how powerful the right legal knowledge can be, when used accurately. I believe everyone is entitled to fair legal representation no matter the circumstance and I have a strong passion to be a part of this.

Kiitan Abel-Ajala

Hi everyone! My name is Kiitan and I am a recent LLB graduate from the University of Nottingham. I developed an interest in law from a very young age. My initial fascination came from its role as a necessary tool for protecting human rights, particularly in cases of violence against women. I am also interested in its versatility and relevance in regulating most sectors. My current interests are Intellectual Property and Human Rights.

Patrixia Paje

Community Law Project - Paralegal

Hello! My name is Trixia and I’m a third year law student at London South Bank University. I am interested in law because it plays a huge part in our society and it is a part of our life that is constantly changing no matter where we are or what we do. I aspire to be a Criminal and Family Barrister but would also like to develop skills and knowledge in other areas of law, particularly Medical Negligence, Personal Injury and Human Rights law. I enjoy the challenging and fast-paced environment in the legal field and being a part of the CLP organisation is a great opportunity for me to provide support and guidance to our community whilst gaining new experiences and meeting people who are passionate about the same cause as I do.

Rachna Venkatasami

Community Law Project - Paralegal

Hi, my name is Rachna Venkatasami. I am a GDL graduate from The University of Law and a recent LPC graduate from BPP University. I have also completed a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of Leeds and a Diploma in Medicine from Bristol University. I studied Law as I developed a passion for advocacy and the rights of the individual. I have since developed this passion further and acquired an interest in international law, medical law, and bioethics. One of the reasons I have chosen a career in Law is the opportunity to develop specialist advocacy skills and the opportunity this can bring to help others achieve access to truth, justice, and legal redress.

Nicholas Chong

Community Law Project - Paralegal

My name is Nicholas Chong. I am an incoming final year Law LLB student at Queen Mary University of London with particular interests in tort and public international law. I chose to study law due to my desire to examine how the framework of the law shapes conventions and attitudes in modern society. Additionally, the double-edged nature of the legal system intrigued me. On one hand, it can be a major tool to uphold fairness and justice; on the other hand, it can also be wielded as a justification to suppress rights. My main goal is to obtain a training contract and qualify as a solicitor.

Adetoun Adebayo

Sabrije Mehmeti

Community Law Project - Paralegal

Hi! I'm Sabrije and I'm in the final year of my Criminal Justice and Criminology degree at the University of Leeds. Upon completion of my degree, I aim to pursue my interest in law by studying the MA Law (SQE1) conversion course. As an advisor for Citizens Advice Bureau, I assist clients with various legal issues including matrimonial matters and providing domestic violence support which has further piqued my interest in pursuing a career as a family lawyer. As an active member of the law for non-law society, I enjoy attending bespoke webinars and networking with other aspiring lawyers. I thrive in challenging and stimulating environments and I am particularly interested in the human aspect of law and how the law can help the most vulnerable of individuals.

Kai Hardy-Crow

Community Law Project - Paralegal

Hello! My name is Kai Hardy-Crow, I have recently LLB graduated from the University of West London and I am on the way to start the LPC LLM at City, University of London in September. It was only in the last year of college that I started getting an interest in law, once I started university my interest grew especially in areas of law such as criminal, tort and family law as this helped demonstrate how the justice system works and how integral access to justice can be. These areas I'm very passionate about and would like to practice in as I want to feel as if I'm helping people get justice if something wrong has happened to them. This is also why I have chosen to volunteer for the CLP, as I want to help people get access to legal services and justice.
